1b2d269118 vim change ^ and $ go to end of current line

4d00bb4dbc add word highlighting options to vimrc 
Copied from sjl, these mappings make it easy to highlight different
words in different colors in the file, making it easy to track multiple
words throughout the file

5c38bfc5f5 fix weird start when opening vim 
when opening vim on files outside of tmux, vim is in a weird state,
where the first command typed causes a delete of the current line. I
tracked the issue down to this line in the vimrc

+ used macvim's --override-system-vim flag to upgrade system vim to 7.4

8f2ac80034 Big Changes to Vim - Colorscheme, Powerline 
+ Removed vim-powerline in favor of a more custom, simple statusline
    + new statusline still switches color based on mode
    + still displays about the same information
+ added vim-colorschemes plugin
    + adds many different colorschemes for easy switching
    + switched to jellybeans theme
+ Made it easier to reload vimrc for quick changes
    + changed all function to function! calls (overrides on each save)
    + added check for whether the vimrc has been loaded before to only do things once
        + only loading Vundle plugins once
+ added autocmd to source vimrc.local files on save
