5c38bfc5f5 fix weird start when opening vim 
when opening vim on files outside of tmux, vim is in a weird state,
where the first command typed causes a delete of the current line. I
tracked the issue down to this line in the vimrc

6c41613f55 Upgrade to vim 7.4, remove vim alias 
+ used macvim's --override-system-vim flag to upgrade system vim to 7.4
+ Changed from zencoding-vim to emmet-vim
+ turned syntastic on

4354fcc0e8 Add git templates with preconfigured hooks 
So far, add a single pre-commit hook which loops through the dotfiles
